Two alert systems — the in-terminal browser bell (real-time), and tier-based server rules in the Alerts Center (/alerts) for key-level / structural / flow / signal, with delivery via email / Telegram / Discord / Push and a trigger history.
HermesGEX has two independent alert systems — don't conflate them. One is the in-terminal browser bell (instant pop-ups for structural events); the other is tier-based server rules in the Alerts Center (key-level / structural / options-flow / money-flow, delivered via email / Telegram / Discord / Push, with a trigger history). The browser bell works for any logged-in user; server rules unlock by tier starting at Essential.
1. In-terminal browser bell (real-time)
The bell sits in the header of the "Live Insight" rail on the right of the HuntingFlow main chart — a bell-icon toggle.
Click the bell to authorize
Click the bell → the browser asks for notification permission → allow. Once granted, the bell stays lit.
Which events fire
Each event has its own debounce (cooldown) to avoid spam:

The bell uses local browser notifications and only works while the terminal page is open — no server, no email/Telegram. For offline/cross-device push, use the Settings → Notifications rules below.
2. Server rules · Alerts Center (tiered)
Configure these in the Alerts Center; the server evaluates them, pushes cross-device, and logs every trigger under the "History" tab (time / event / delivery channels). Scope unlocks by tier:

Web Push is a system-level browser or phone notification (you allow notifications once on the device) and is not the same thing as the in-terminal bell: push reaches you with the page closed, the bell only fires while the terminal is open.
Create a rule
Each rule has: ticker, level, threshold %, cooldown, delivery channels, and an optional label. Available levels: Call Wall, Put Wall, Zero Gamma, HVL, Custom price.
Trigger condition
Fires when |spot − level| / level × 100 ≤ threshold% (default 0.5%) and the cooldown (default 30 min) since the last trigger has elapsed.
Pick delivery channels
- Email: on by default, sent to your account email, zero config.
- Telegram: bind your own Bot Token and Chat ID in the same card.
- Discord: bind a channel webhook to deliver into your own server.
- Web Push: allow notifications on the device and receive them offline.
- Webhook (Ultra): deliver to your own endpoint for downstream automation.
(Optional) Signal subscriptions
The Telegram config also lets you subscribe to signal types: GEX price alert, pre-market brief, and post-market review.
Typical workflow
- Intraday, light the bell in HuntingFlow to watch live structural events.
- For swing/away-from-desk cases, add a few key-level rules in the Alerts Center (e.g. "SPY Call Wall 0.3%"), and review hits under the "History" tab.
- Want instant phone alerts? Bind Telegram; otherwise use the default email.

The in-terminal browser bell works for any logged-in user. Telegram needs your own Bot Token and Chat ID; email is on by default with zero config.
