HermesGEX vs Quant Data
Exchange-licensed data with an API/MCP head start
Quick verdict
Quant Data's strengths are data legitimacy and breadth: exchange-licensed feeds, GEX/DEX/VEX/CHEX exposures, a 30+ widget drag-and-drop workspace, the only native iOS/Android apps in this space, and the earliest MCP-enabled API. HermesGEX trails on licensing and mobile; the difference is where the workflow ends — Quant Data is a web/app dashboard, while HermesGEX writes levels into five trading terminals, with deeper ES/NQ futures pricing, replay and Chinese support.

Frequently asked questions
Will HermesGEX ship a public API?
It is on the roadmap (including MCP endpoints and server-side Webhook delivery), with no committed date yet. Event alerts surface in real time inside the terminal today; outbound automation push is still in development.
Why do the GEX numbers differ?
Different sources and methodologies: Quant Data uses exchange-licensed feeds; HermesGEX computes from official exchange chains and real-time quotes. Relative structure (walls, zero gamma) usually agrees; absolute values differ.
Which is cheaper?
Depends on tier: HermesGEX Essential at $29 undercuts the $74.99 Dashboard; Ultra at $79 is below the $149.99 API tier — but the entitlements differ, so map the table above to what you actually need.
