The HuntingFlow main chart supports line, candlestick and Heikin-Ashi drawing modes with switchable timeframes. Mode and timeframe only change how price is drawn, and do not affect the GEX overlay layers. The entry is in the chart-mode bar embedded in the indicator dock.
Three modes
Line
Draws only the closing-price line — the cleanest option, ideal when focusing on GEX structure and key levels without candle bodies in the way.
Candlestick
Keeps the true open / high / low / close — closest to actual trades, ideal for execution scenarios that need precise entry/exit prices.
Heikin-Ashi
Smooths price to filter noise and highlight trend continuity — ideal for judging whether a trend day continues; but because of smoothing, its candle prices are not equal to actual trade prices.
Timeframes
The 30-second micro timeframe is available for ES / NQ only, for high-frequency intraday futures observation; other tickers offer 1-minute to 1-hour. Shorter timeframes hug current micro-structure; longer ones reveal regime and larger-degree key levels.
How to choose
Intraday futures: ES/NQ on 30s–1m + Heikin-Ashi for trend continuity, switch to candlesticks to pin a precise entry. Watching levels / resting orders: line is the least distracting, focusing on price relative to levels. Judging a trend day: consecutive same-color Heikin-Ashi = strong trend, an opposite-color small body = momentum fading.
