US Equity Trader Track
The Hermēs flow for US equity traders — sweep ETFs/single names for opportunities with Market State, lock onto contracts with new money via the UOA Scanner, validate per-strike GEX and liquidity in the Option Chain, then build a structure and trade.
The Hermēs flow for US equity traders (single-name / ETF options) is: sweep for opportunities → lock contracts by unusual flow → validate in the Option Chain → build a structure and trade. The core is using "unusual options activity" to focus attention on the few tickers and strikes with money moving, then confirming tradability with per-strike GEX and liquidity.

Daily flow (in practice)
Sweep for opportunities
Open Market State → Ticker Scan and sweep ETFs and single names by IV/IVR, GEX, CVR, DEX, picking out tickers with structural or volatility anomalies.
Lock contracts by unusual flow
Use the UOA Scanner with a Vol/OI threshold to filter contracts with significantly amplified same-day volume — often the clue to concentrated new money.
Validate in the Option Chain
Switch to the Option Chain and read that strike's bid-ask width, OI, IV and per-strike GEX: thick OI + tight bid-ask = tradable; the GEX sign re-checks whether it's support or resistance.
Build a structure and trade
Take the candidate contract into the Strategy Workshop to build a structure, check max P/L and theoretical PoP, then execute.
Extra: spot block orders
When you need a spot-side clue, use Darkpool to see where off-exchange block orders land, corroborating with options UOA.

Frequently asked questions
What should a US equity trader look at first?
Sweep ETFs and single names with the Market State scan first, finding anomalies by IV percentile and GEX/CVR, then lock onto contracts with concentrated new money via the UOA Scanner.
What tier do US single names need?
Option Chain, UOA Scanner and Market State are all Pro windows; data access for most single names and ETFs needs Ultra, while ES/NQ/BTC/ETH are Pro.
Options Trader Track
The Hermēs flow for options traders — set the volatility environment with Vol Intelligence (IV percentile/VRP/skew/term), pick a structure with the curve and implied distribution, build legs and compute PoP in the Strategy Workshop, and manage net exposure with the Portfolio.
