Futures Trader Track
The standard flow for futures traders on Hermēs — read the dealer regime (long/short Gamma) first, then pin GEX key levels, score confluence with the four-layer framework, validate signals with backtest and cross-asset correlation, and land on an ES/NQ intraday Playbook.
The standard flow for futures traders (ES / NQ intraday) on Hermēs is: read the regime → pin key levels → four-layer confluence → validate with data → intraday execution. The core belief: dealer hedging flow drives the intraday path of ES/NQ spot — read the structure and you read the path of least resistance.

Daily flow (in practice)
Read the regime
Open the HuntingFlow main chart and read spot vs zero gamma: above = long Gamma (reversion, sell vol / fade extremes); below = short Gamma (trend, go with it). Use the Market State regime labels to sweep whether ES/NQ/SPY/QQQ agree.
Pin key levels
In the GEX Data Center, verify the exact strike and thickness of the control node, Call/Put Wall, MaxPain, and switch to Ladder Comparison to confirm 0DTE and all-expiry agree.
Score confluence
Use the four-layer framework confluence to score how many layers stack at the same price — only multi-layer confluence levels deserve size.
Validate with data (Ultra)
Drop a seemingly effective structural signal into the GEX Signal Backtest for win rate/drawdown; use Cross-asset Correlation to confirm whether today is a systemic move or divergence.
Execute & manage risk
Place trades per the Futures Playbook scenarios with stops / targets / invalidation set; turn on the "zero gamma + walls + regime" trio in Voice Squawk to hear anomalies without watching the screen.
Frequently used tools
Frequently asked questions
What should a futures trader look at first?
The dealer regime first — spot above zero gamma is long Gamma (mean reversion, suppressed volatility), below is short Gamma (trend, amplified volatility); the regime decides whether to use a reversion or a trend play today.
What subscription tier does a futures trader need?
Full real-time ES/NQ levels need Essential or higher; the Options Desk GEX Data Center and Market State need Pro; GEX Signal Backtest and Cross-asset Correlation need Ultra.
