Pick Your Role
Three battle-tested paths — for futures traders, options traders, and equity traders. Choose your instrument and jump straight to the matching Hermēs playbook and workflow.
Pick your role first, then read the playbook
Hermēs runs on one set of dealer-positioning intelligence (GEX, walls, regime, Vanna/Charm, order flow), but futures traders, options traders, and equity traders translate the same chart into completely different actions. This page routes you by instrument so you can skip the parts you don't need.
Not sure where to start? All three roles should read two foundation chapters first: Options & Market Makers (why dealers must hedge) and the GEX Four-Layer Framework (the regime → structure → positioning scan order). Then enter your role path.
Three battle paths
Futures · Intraday ES / NQ
What you trade: ES / NQ (and MES / MNQ) futures, read through SPX-options GEX.
Core weapons: HuntingFlow chart + Tactical HUD + DEX Flip alerts + the Decision Cockpit template.
Edge: use dealer hedging flow to anticipate pins, reversals and trend days in ES/NQ, translating regime into entry/stop/target.
Tier: Essential and up (live ES/NQ); Pro adds 10 indices and alerts.
Options · Structure & Vol
What you trade: index / single-name option structures (condors, spreads, straddles), as seller or buyer.
Core weapons: the Options Desk — Strategy Lab, Vol Intelligence, scenario matrix, implied distribution, position sizer.
Edge: pick the regime with IV Rank + VRP, map it to a structure across 8 regimes, verify breakevens with implied probability, manage risk with Greeks attribution.
Tier: Ultra (full Options Desk).
Equity · Single-Name & ETF
What you trade: single-stock and ETF options (SPY / QQQ + Stocks · Weighted / Momentum / Extended).
Core weapons: UOA whale scanner + cross-asset correlation matrix + single-name option chain + single-name GEX.
Edge: find institutional direction from unusual flow, read sector and VIX lead from correlation, and locate levels with single-name GEX that differs from index GEX.
Tier: Ultra (all 28 tickers, single-name options, scanner, correlation).

Frequently asked questions
Who is Hermēs for?
Hermēs serves three trader types — futures traders (intraday ES / NQ), options traders (index and single-name option structures, seller or buyer), and equity traders (single-stock and ETF options, unusual activity). All three share the same dealer-hedging data, but read it and act on it differently. This page gives each its own roadmap.
I trade both futures and options — how should I read the docs?
Read two foundation chapters first — "Options & Market Makers" and the "GEX Four-Layer Framework" — then pick your path by that day's main battlefield — ES / NQ goes the futures route, option structures go the options route, single names go the equity route. All three read the same GEX map, just translated into different orders.

Futures Trader Track
The standard flow for futures traders on Hermēs — read the dealer regime (long/short Gamma) first, then pin GEX key levels, score confluence with the four-layer framework, validate signals with backtest and cross-asset correlation, and land on an ES/NQ intraday Playbook.
